150+ Hour Educational Curriculum Drone (sUAS) Use and Regulations 101
Course Summary:
This course is designed to not only help students master the content they will need to become a FAA Certified Remote Pilot, but also to help them think and act as a professional aviator. This student driven course will allow students the opportunity to explore and become familiar with aviation as well as practice and learn the skills necessary to be a safe and efficient remote pilot in their chosen field. After completion, students should have the knowledge and skills to pass the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Exam, understand different types of drone equipment and their uses, be knowledgeable about uses of sUAS in multiple fields, and be confident in their abilities to operate equipment both manually and autonomously for multiple purposes. All materials will be provided for instructors and students through the secured Learning Management System “LMS” hosted by CrossFlight Sky Solutions at my.CrossFlightSkySolutions.com.

This course is an advanced level course designed for upper level high school students (11th-12th grade) and post secondary applications.
